Student Services
We hope all goes well while you're with us, but if you do experience any problems with your studies or personal circumstances, Student Services are always ready to help. All of our Student Services Advisors can be contacted on 01761 433161.
Counselling
The College Counsellor provides a free and confidential service. The Counseller will listen and provide support on any issue, either personal or College related, which may be troubling you. Support could be anything from a short chat to longer sessions over a few weeks.
Chaplaincy
We have a Chaplain who is available twice a week. The Chaplaincy is non-denominated although the present Chaplain is from the Church of England.
Student Health Nurse
If you have any questions relating to your health or well-being, the Student Health Nurse is available by appointment.
Financial Support
Financial support is available to all students aged 16 or over to help with the costs of studying. The Learner Support Fund and Education Maintenance Awards (EMA) enable you to join or remain on certain courses. There are also a range of Student Loans and Career Development Loans available. Careers Advice
The Careers Officer is based at Main Site Radstock but regularly visits Ellsbridge House, Keynsham Business and Secreterial Centre and the Centurion Vocational Centre. We also have an onsite Connexions Advisor.
Learning Support
If you need additional support with your studies we can help. This could be anything from help for students with Dyslexia or Aspergers Syndrome through to arranging a sign language interpreter or large print course materials. Please contact us on 01761 433161 for more information.
