Public Services Level 2 Diploma BTEC
This one year course provides you with an excellent grounding in the skills and knowledge needed for a career in the public services (such as the armed forces or emergency services). The First Diploma is made up of 6 separate units including Public Service Skills and Fitness, Outdoor Activities, Sport and Recreation, Law and the Individual and Expedition Skills. You will have the opportunity to take part in overnight expeditions and the opportunity for a number of visits throughout the course.

Public Services Level 3 National Certificate BTEC
The course gives you an excellent grounding in the skills and knowledge needed for a career in the public services (such as armed forces or emergency services. There are a wide range of units covered, including understanding the Public Sector, Law and the Legal System, Health and Fitness, Outdoor Activities, Physical Preparation for the Uniformed Services. You will have the opportunity to take part in overnight expeditions and the opportunity for a number of visits throughout the course.

Sport Level 2 Diploma BTEC
If you are interested in a career in the sports or leisure industry, this course will provide you with a broad knowledge of the subject. You will study six units which cover the human body, health & safety, lifestyle, diet, psychology, local and national sports facilities, funding, planning exercise programmes, training and research into your own favourite sport. There will also be opportunities to visit sporting facilities and take part in outdoor activities.
