Hair and Beauty
Everyone likes to look and feel their best and feel valued. Our professional hair and beauty suite run in partnership with a local hotel, provides the perfect environment to develop your skills, from treatments and styling to customer service. Combined with theory, work placements, competitions, community projects and optional study areas, you will learn everything you need to progress. You will have to attend an interview and an assessment to check your suitability for enrolment onto each course.
*Please note all students will be required to purchase a uniform and appropriate kit.
Course: Beauty Therapy, Levels 2 and 3, NVQ
I chose Norton Radstock College because it looked like a professional and realistic environment to work in. You are treated like an adult rather than a school pupil. We also learnt about reception, stock-taking and selling skills - all the extra things you need to successfully work in the industry. My confidence really increased whilst at College and six months ago I set up my own beauty therapy business - I've already achieved my first goal of earning enough to buy a spray tan machine!
