Facilities at Norton Radstock College

Learning Resource Centres
A wide range of library and study facilities are available in our Learning Resource Centres at Main Site Radstock, Ellsbridge House, B6, and the Centurion Vocational Centre.

Car Parking and Transport
Large free car parks are available at all sites and there are FREE daily bus services from a range of surrounding locations. More information on college transport is available here.

Childcare
Little Learners' Nursery, located at Main Site Radstock, is purpose built and provides a childcare setting for the children of students, staff and members of the community. The Nursery operates all year, 8.45am-5.15pm Monday - Friday (excluding bank holidays), and caters for children aged two and a half to five years. A team of childcare practitioners provides a caring and nurturing environment which is inspected by Ofsted Early Years. More information on college childcare facilites are available here.

Copy Shop
Photocopying, printing and stationery supplies are available at the Copy Shop which is located in the West Side Building, Main Site Radstock.

Food and Drink
A variety of refreshment options is available at Main Site Radstock, Ellsbridge House, B6, and the Centurion Vocational Centre. Main Site Radstock has two outlets:

Northside Cafe, open from 8.00am-4.00pm, serves a range of hot and cold meals and snacks.

The Coffee Shop, open from 9.00am-4.00pm during term time, provides a tasty selection of coffees, cakes, pastries and savoury snacks.

Relax
At Main Site Radstock there is a dedicated area where you can relax, watch TV, play games or just hang out. The other sites also have common rooms.

Pamper yourself
Our professional Hair and Beauty Suite, at the Centurion Vocational Centre, provides a wide range of competitively priced hair styling and beauty treatments to students, staff and members of the public.

Partners
We work with a number of other colleges and schools in order to broaden our curriculum offer. There is some common timetabling, together with travel between the following sites; Norton Hill School, Writhlington School, Somervale School and Broadlands School. We also work in partnership with other education providers in Bath & North East Somerset including City of Bath College and Bath Spa University.

Students with Disabilities
The College is keen to provide access for all and undertakes an annual physical access audit to ensure compliancy with the Disability Discrimination and Equality Act 2010. We will follow reasonable adjustment measures whenever possible to allow access and promote movement around buildings. Where possible we will ensure reasonable adjustments are made to allow for safe and easy access to equipment within workshops and classrooms.
