My dad is a mechanical engineer which inspired me to come to Norton Radstock College with my school to do a GCSE in Engineering. I enjoyed it so much that I came back as a full-time student and then stayed to do an NVQ on day release. At College you get treated like an adult and learn loads of new skills that are relevant to the outside world. I'm now working full-time as a coded welder and I go out on jobs all around the world.
