Protecting children and vulnerable adults
In October 2009 the new Vetting and Barring Scheme was launched to help protect children and vulnerable adults from neglect and abuse. We seek to work in partnership with employers, who offer work experience or apprenticeship opportunities, to fulfil these responsibilities and play our part in the integrated national approach to safeguarding.
