Art and Design
Do you enjoy being creative? On all of our courses you will learn to communicate visually through a range of media eg painting, sculpture, photography, fashion, printmaking and textiles. To communicate visually you need practice in looking, seeing and using signs, symbols, shapes and forms. We regularly visit exhibitions and students have the opportunity to display their own work in the annual summer exhibition.
Currently the college's Art and Design department has achieved a 100% pass rate in all its courses!
Course: BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design
After my GCSEs, most of them art and media related, I chose Norton Radstock College so that I could develop my painting and graphics work. I got on really well with the tutors who kept me motivated for the two years. The course was lots of fun and everyone was very supportive of each other. I even got to share some of my Mac skills with the other students. I am now going to Bath Spa University to do an Honours Degree in Fine Art.
