Art and Design

Do you enjoy being creative? On all of our courses you will learn to communicate visually through a range of media eg painting, sculpture, photography, fashion, printmaking and textiles. To communicate visually you need practice in looking, seeing and using signs, symbols, shapes and forms. We regularly visit exhibitions and students have the opportunity to display their own work in the annual summer exhibition.

Art and Design Student Profile - Ben
Course: Art & Design Diploma in Foundation Studies (Pre-Degree) BTEC

"I've always wanted to do art! After my A Levels, in History, Art and Film Studies, a Foundation Course was the best route for me. I chose Norton Radstock College to get out of the city - it's been great meeting new people. I'm really interested in graphic arts and computers and I've been accepted onto the BA (Hons) Illustration at Swansea University... but first I'm going to take a gap year to travel the world!"
