Animal Care
If you've always dreamed about working with animals, our Animal Care Centre, at Ellsbridge House in Keynsham, is just the place for you. It's our dedicated hub of animal activity and home to all sorts of rodents, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish and creepy crawlies. When you join us, you will also get to increase your knowledge with visits to places like Bristol Zoo, rescue centres, veterinary museums and some great work placement opportunities.
Course: Animal Care, Level 2, First Diploma BTEC
"I always wanted to work with animals and at Norton Radstock College I got a good all-round knowledge. There's also a College bus service that I took from the bus stop right outside my home. The biology side of the course was much easier to understand than biology at school as there were less people in a class and the teachers talk to you on the same level. I've now found a job at the veterinary practice I did my work placement in."
