CLAiT Level 1
A beginners course that will equip you with a basic range of skills necessary to meet the demands of the modern workplace.

What will I study?
Word Processing & File Management unit along with two or four other units from the list below:

• Databases
• Desktop Publishing
• Internet & Email
• Presentation Graphics
• Spreadsheets & Graphs
• Web Page Design

Certificate (3 units)

CLAiT Plus Level 2
For those who already have some IT experience. Candidates can tailor the qualification to suit their own needs.

What will I study?
Integrated Documents unit along with two or four other units from the list below:

• Spreadsheets & Graphs
• Databases
• PowerPoint Presentations
• Web Page Creation
• Desktop Publishing
• E-Communications

Certificate (3 units)
Diploma (5 units)
CLAiT Level 1 & 2 can contribute towards the ITQ Qualification


Develop your skills with an ITQ. This flexible IT qualification is adaptable to enable learning and application of computer skills for each:

European Computer DrivingLicence (ECDL)
Internationally recognised qualification suitable for students who have basic IT knowledge.

ECDL Essentials (Level 1)
You will gain an initial overview of computer use through studying the following three units:
• Security for IT users
•IT fundamentals for users
• Information and Communication (Internet & Email).

ECDL Extra (Level 2)
This Level is designed to give you in-depth knowledge and understanding of computer use through the following five units:
• Word Processing
• Spreadsheets
• Presentations
• Improving productivity using IT
