Children's Care, Learning & Development Level 3 Certificate C&G
A part-time course requiring attendance in College 1 day per week and a placement or employment in a pre-school, nursery or school. Aimed at those 18 years and over wishing to gain a qualification at level 3 which is recognised on the National Framework for Qualifications for working with children & young people. This qualification also delivers underpinning knowledge for NVQ 3 in Children's Care, Learning & Development.

Foundations Of Health (UWE)
Foundations in Health is a 20 CATS points module taken from the first year of the BSc (hons) programme for nurse training. The module can be used as part of a credit accumulation scheme towards the degree. It can be used to demonstrate recent study in support of a vocational qualification such as an NVQ Care Level 3 to access nursing for anyone wanting to go into nursing. This is a foundation module relating to health from a biological, psychological and sociological perspective.

Access To Higher Education Level 3 Certificate OCN
Access to Higher Education is a programme designed for mature students who wish to progress to a university to study for a degree or a Foundation Degree in caring or general subject related professions. Access is appropriate for those returning to education after a number of years, for example in employment, bringing up a family or having a career break. An Access to Higher Education course is open to suitable applicants with sufficient interest and commitment. The course is offered on a full time and part time basis at the college's main site.
